mistakensilenceShe so wanted to talk; about her woodland, the clever way Mr Squirrel dodged a pigeon twice his size on an electric cable that morning. But they clearly were far more concerned with Teresa’s new dress, how ugly Barbara’s new boyfriend is, how haughty Nina was to Lola the other day. Their moaning never seemed to end. She listened but her mind would inevitably wander back in her wood. They did not call her back. They rather indulged themselves in further gossiping at their following gathering. How asocial of a person she is was very high on their list that day
