COLOUR ME FREE

colourfree

I started a new hobby the other day, zen colouring or colouring for mindfulness. I was a little perplex at first, any reason to justify colouring for grown-ups. But I felt compelled to give it a go. I am glad I did, it is a beautiful activity to engage with, it brought back my innocent gorgeous inner child to play, she used to love loosing herself with her pencils.

But before I could finish the one I started, she rushed to another one, she was so eager, I had to pause and asked her: “Darling why is it we are not finishing the one we started?”

She starred at me with those big huge brown eyes in that way I almost felt silly for asking and said: “There is something beautiful about leaving it unfinished, it now has the freedom to be anything it wants to be at any one time.”

I gave her a massive hug and we giggled to infinity, a beautiful pause in time
