Lady love, why do we want her so much,
Yet when we have her, take her for granted, watch her go away,
Many of us never meet her, settle for second best, in our primitive pursuit for a family,
But what is a family if not the culmination of love,
Where can she hide in families of conveniences?
For a while I wondered around the globe looking for lady Love,
Often if not always tricked by her countless carbon copies,
Amongst my kind she takes so many forms,
Neediness and jealousy are her darkest allies,
But who is Lady love at her most beautiful essence?
It is in Nature that I truly got to meet her,
She let me in her nurturing enchanting green heart,
Shared with me her most intimate secret,
One word, “Unconditional”, she quietly whispered
